2025-27 Grant Eligibility Process
For Non- United Way Designated Agencies
The first step in the grant application process is for interested organizations and programs to submit an Eligibility Checklist via our Grant Portal. The Checklist consists of basic eligibility questions and document uploads. Eligible programs that meet United Way of Waco-McLennan County’s eligibility criteria and align with our Impact Framework will be invited to submit a full grant application.
Non-profits interested in entering the eligibility process must contact us at grants@unitedwaywaco.org to gain access to our online grant portal.
For United Way Designated Agencies
United Way Designated Agencies have already been screened as having met our basic eligibility criteria and therefore are automatically eligible to submit a grant application and do not need to complete an Eligibility Checklist. Designated Agencies who wish to submit a grant application will need to complete a basic Intent to Apply form via our online grant portal. Designated Agencies do not need to request access to the Intent to Apply form; it will automatically be made available to you in the grant portal should you wish to submit your intent to apply.
